The ASC receives no funding from Alberta government tax revenue; it is funded entirely by industry (reporting issuers, registrants and other market participants).
In accordance with the Public Sector Compensation Transparency Act, the CSV file below contains the names and total compensation paid to employees of the Alberta Securities Commission who earned over $125,000 in 2015, $126,375 in 2016 and $127,765 in 2017, as well as all compensation paid to board members in the same calendar years.
When reviewing the CSV file, please note that Compensation and Other columns reference total compensation. Compensation may include Registered Retirement Savings Plan contributions made on behalf of an employee, as appropriate. Other may include a change in the accrued benefit obligation over the calendar year for pension plan contributions, as appropriate. Specifics are noted in Column “J” of the CSV file.
